Avant Aurora - This is gonna cost

When I fly the sim I usually choose the Aurora as my preferred model but thats really the only interest I've had in them.

That is until I saw Nick's fly yesterday (Synergyn9). Still thinking about it almost two days later.

I guess this is gonna cost a few quid - you know that feeling, it just nags away in your brain until you eventually give up an go buy one.

I'm going to hide the plastic and see if the feeling passes.

Have you already got, or ever owned a 90?

If not, you could temper your craving by scanning the 2nd hand ads on here and BMFA classifieds etc for almost any 'quality' 90 size heli like an Xcell Fury, JR Vibe. You can pick these up fully ready-to-go with all electrics, engine, muffler, blades, the lot for anything from £300 upwards.

I've had several 90s over my flying days, and my first 'brand new' one was my 6th one if you know what I mean. 4 of the previous 5 were sold on when the time came. One met an untimely and complete death due to 100% pilot error.

All 90s will give a cheesy grin and have a certain 'presence' in the air that is mesmerising.

No, the 90 will be all new to me. Flown a couple of 700's but not really much difference to my 600's.

It was just the sound and the awesome/daunting presence of the Avant in flight that did it for me, it almost demands respect- it was being well flown it has to be said but I think that was only part of it.

I've been up close to other 90's that are very nice but nothing quite like the Avant.
