  • Annoying heli habits

Does anyone have an annoying heli habit they can't shift. For me its taking off and doing a flip in normal mode!, managed to save it everytime now but it's a brown trouser moment when the power drops into soft start. Everytime I say that was close, not doing that again but it always does. I must have done it a dozen times now

Flying half the pack without the timer on and then having to guess how I long I have left before risking overdischarging the batteries.

I do this with monotonous regularity.

Forgetting to take the exhaust bung out then wondering why I have fuel pouring out the carb when I unclamp the fuel line ready to start, on the exhaust pressure nipple type of engine. Forgetting to put the pressure release bung back in after filling on a crankcase pressure type engine and wondering why it keeps cutting as I throttle up.

I'm a very right sided flyer, need to use the left side of the flight line more

When I am a simple bystander watching my heli crash I always throttle down rather than hitting throttle hold - I blame my old mCX and mSR experience.

waggy tail on my 500. Trying thicker foam on the gyro pad and then will fit a TT and bin the belt drive, fingers crossed.

no complaints from my 450pro - runs sweet as a nut

Wondering who's watching standing in the pits area and loosing concentration through thinking about it (who says men can't multitask ?) lol

Being actually scared of crashing which is very resistive, i last crashed about december, since then i've become better at everything i could already do - nothing more

Same here, and also not wanting to make a right-hand turn when the heli is to my right, I have to start forcing myself to do these things the opposite way until I no longer feel that sense of discomfort about them.
