Just setting up my DX8 and I now realise that my AR7000 is probably not compatible as it does not have the 'Data' port on it. Does anyone know if it's possible to get it upgraded? This rx actually just came back from Horizon a couple of weeks ago as I had new antennas put on it and I see that the paperwork says "re-programming" the receiver was carried out so I assume it has the very latest firmware.

Yes but some older AR7000's didn't have the data port -it was a later addition. What I'm wondering is if they can be upgraded to include the data function?Comment
