Got It and Flown It

Well i got my new T-Rex 450 Se V2 on friday. built it friday night untill about 1 am and flew it sat Morning and well...........................WOW How well do these little things fly i have only flown about 5 flights all just floating about as i have not flown for a while and i was in a barn i am amazed at how it flew really really smooth and the 401 and 9650 really hold that tail Dead ! the only thing that is getting me at the moment is only having one charger and 3 batterys .. think i might order a couple more chargers and few more packs as im just standing about waiting for things to charge up. any ways i love it and the bugs back.....

the bug does bit hard, I only started again in January/February. Now ive got the helis listed plus a Raptor 60 airframe and another little leccy buried in the garage. lol

now im looking into maybe getting a 600E

good luck with the V2 may have to get one of them too but I find it hard to believe at the moment I would notice the difference from my V1 at my stage of flying.

Here she is (at work) as you can see working hard on my pc just had another little fly and still shocked how well this little thing flies and how easy it was to build and set up ...... now what model next ???

There are some sub30 -30 size electrics that will fly on two trex 3s1p lipos in series. eg 3dx500 and hurricane550.
Align are rumoured to be about to launch one inbetween the 450 and the 600.
If you are investing in lots of batteries and chargers then that could be the way to go. the cellpro4 charger is the one to have for the trex450 for sure.
chargers for more than 4-5 cell series are expensive- plus you run into problems with it flattening your car/leasure battery unless you have mains where you fly. you have to go some to do that charging 3s1p2200 packs!
