  • Damn cheesium screws!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bloody align screws, any ideas of how to get this out, its on the main struts between the frames, where main shaft bearings are, just above main gear, what a pain in the f*ckin arse!!

Looks like you have enough room to get a pair of small good quality mole grips on the rim of the head?? Easy does it! Plus a bit of heat from a heat gun or the tip of a soldering iron will soften any threadlock.

I wonder if I could take the side upper side frame off, and gets some pliers on it to twist it out, then get an upgrade set of screws

Whip the servo out - it will give you more swinging room.

Take out the main gear and servo and get some pliers to it. It doesn't look flush, looks like there is a bit of room there. The one in the middle doesn't look like there is anything there.

I can't tell, is the head broken off? What I have done before with small hex bolts where the hex part was rounded is (if it sticks out at all) to cut a slot in it with a hacksaw and then use a flatblade screwdriver to remove it, but if the head is broken off or doesn't stick out then obviously that idea won't work.

But keep in mind in general, even if you replace the bolts, those 1.5mm bolts just can't take very much torque regardless, it's pretty easy to over-tighten them.

Is it the one nearer the top with about 2 mm from the frame? Or are we looking at a sheered off bolt bang in the centre of the pic?

I often use the tips of a small high quality pair of snips/side cutters held vertical one jaw into the Alan key hole the other onto the side of the bolt head this gets most rounded bolts out. Another good tip is to hold a hot soldering iron on the bolt head for a good few mins if it's got lock tight on it this will destroy the strenth of the bond and the expansion of the bolt free,s it all up .good luck.

I know, the out side of the bolt has steered off leaving the hex shape of the head remaining that's why it doesn't look like there's anything there
