  • Storing Helis in a conservatory

    Hi guys,

Just a thought. Is there any issues with storing helis in a Conservatory? Wondering if it might be too hot? Not the Lipos but just the heli itself. Just having a thought about a perfect spot to store a bigger heli above the door through to the house from the conservatory as there's loads of room. Just worried about the heat in summer although the roof is a frosted type of box-perspex stuff rather than glass.

Do they fly heli's in Africa, warmer countries lol, can't see a problem unless it gets damp?

I wouldn't say heat would be an issue, more the condensation if ours is anything to go by.

Thanks guys, I thought that would be the case but wasn't sure on the heat. Our garden is completely enclosed and not overlooked and it'll be stored high up so it's probably the safest place in the house to store them really.

Cover anything you want to remain the same colour.

May I recommend canopy covers and blade covers. My mate's blade turned from a clean white to a nasty looking pale yellow.
