  • Thieiving Scumbags.

Working from home today and the motorbike was sat on the drive. I see a figure run across the drive way and two hoodies over the road wandering around on bikes. Looked odd but after watching them for 10 mins thought they were just kids mucking about.

10 mins later one of them is running down the street with my bike. I chase after him and of course he lets go of it.

At this point I realies my toes are cut to shreds and I'm missing a toe nail too.

The 1st guy that took my bike has gone but the 2nd guy who did nothing, stood around for ages afterwards is if to taunt me and then I see what looks like a knife in his hand. He looked painfully skinny so probably high on something. I went out to confront him and basically had a few threats him "doing me". At which point I had enough so approah him and he goes.

Never had issues round here before but have heard a few people getting stuff nicked/broken into.

    I hate these scumbags.

Problem is I reacted in a split second when I saw my bike gone. Just wanted it back. I didn't even have shoes on hence the injured toes. Bloody hurts now. Yeah, I wish I could meet them again and take the 5 iron with me but then I'd probably be the one hauled over the coals.

Blimey Dan, you're had a lot of luck lately - all of it bad. Hope it changes for the better and fast.

I had a simular experiance a few months ago i was at the gym training the window of the gym looks out of the car park i see a few kids hovering around my friends bike so i mentioned it to him we watched for a few minutes from the window there was about 5 of us by now and one of the kids grabed the bike and they all started to run ...

so we took chase and cought up with them 2 of the kids pulled out a knife screaming abuse on how they will "cut us" which was a silly mistake ( the gym is a well known respected mixed martial arts gym with extremly skilled people) needless to say they dident fair to well with the knife threat .. silly kids !!!!

we took 2 of them back in to the gym called the police who as you may have guessed did sod all but i cant imagine these kids thinking its a good idea to steel a bike from out side a MMA gym again

but its still shocking that the police dident do anything as teh video footage looking over the carpark wasent "clear" enough to make a arrest as they had hoods up and a scarf over there face

                I hope your bike's allright.
                Ouch!!! Missing toenails sound nasty.

I chased a couple of burglars off with an axe handle once. They ran at first but then the older guy came back towards me challenging me to a fight. He had absolutely no chance of winning. That when I twigged; he Wanted me to batter him. He'd have copped some free hospital food and I'd be busted and paying Him compensation. I thought better of it, ducked inside and called the law.

I'm no martial artist but I'm not small as spend a lot of time lifting weights and the guy with the knife didn't seem fussed at all. Really skinny too so I don't think he would have been a challenge. Lol. Bike isn't too bad, just a few scratches here and there but I'm only riding a little cg125 at the mo as money is tight. Maybe it's why they went for it in the first place.

Scumbags they are! At least you got the bike though mate, you might not have seen them nicking it. I would keep an eye for them coming back too, they have some bottle these kids, and polish the 5 iron up nicely.

Damage isn't too bad, just scuffed bar ends and pegs. Luckily the little 125 doesn't have much bodywork to mention. No point telling the insurance as they'll just try to fleece me as well. Lol.

yeah if its a 125 they'll have it!! Kids love em cos they can use em themselves by cloning them (nothing lost if caught) or breaking for spares! Sooo many CG's out there in need of used spares. My DT got stolen twice, 1st time i caught them down a dark park entrance, clothes lined the pair of em clear off!!! Boy did the rider mess his pant when i went for him. He told the police he thought i was gonna kill him, copper said pity he didnt! lol
I'd personally park it where it can't be seen, chains dont really worry them, they just carry it off. But glad you got it back mate!
If I don't reply, it's probably because I am lost in a Field somewhere!
