Zone lands at Weston Park Model Air Show 2011





Venue: Weston Park


The RC helicopter world's most brutal elimination competition is landing at Weston Park on the 18th & 19th June 2011.

The competition is set within the grounds of one of the most welcoming stately homes in the UK during its annual international model show. The venue holds a wide variety of events throughout the year including the hugely popular V-Festival. Weston Park

The 1st annual Zone competition will be held on the weekend of the International Model Air show which is one of the largest model shows in the UK.
What to expect?

• Over 100 stalls and traders.
• Model Aircraft, Helicopter, Jet and Scale displays from top pilots in the UK and Across the World.
• Full size & model aircraft displays.
• On site Camping available within 1000 Acres of park land.
• Pyrotechnic displays.
• Full catering and licensed Bar including live Entertainment Friday and Saturday Night.
• Children's entertainment and large Fun Fair ,Quad bike rides, Free children's model building workshops... fun for all the family!

I'm in. Should be a great event and a brilliant spectacle once the groups wittle down and the big boys go head to head.

My prediction - Duncan Osbourne vs Adam Turner in the final. Not to be missed!

Yep, missed it last year but will take the caravan this time and make a long weekend of it. I'll do a sun-dance on the 17th.

i would get there early and grab a place to sit(get your chairs ready etc)because it will be packed.
