I agree each to there own have a play see what fits in your hand better have a fiddle with the sticks, i think they will both fly pretty much any model, i think the futaba is the better transmitter but i really like thelook of the JR and JR just have somthing about them that i really like i was even thinking of getting the JR the other month but now have decided to stick with my futaba what ever you buy i dont think you can go wrong maybe save your £££ and get the JR then buy a new engine or somthing with the money you have saved

ok thx for advice guys.went to the shop to buy a jr 9x2 as i have a fut allready .thought id try the dark side for once.then the guy in the shop told me not to buy it and wait till he gets more dx7's next week.2.4 is the way to go he told me and its a waist ov money to go for either ff9 or 9x2.
keep the dx7 rec was his advice throw the dx servos in the bin and keep my old ones.fut and jr will bring out some unit he said for older ff9 and 9x2 to go 2.4 at a cost ov £180.this i didnt get the grip off but at £200 for a dx7 he was making sence.
      iv allways bn futaba thoe.
he did say that jr gear will still work with the 2.4dx7 gear.
bah all i wanted was to buy a radio. i hate mine fields

Some are in it to 'better' the hobby, others (inc my LHS) are in it to make as much money as possible and don't care what the sell you. It's the former ones that get my money.

                  I have both
The JR is my preffered Tx, the sticks feel superior to the FF9 ones

hmm, there is a plane club on Thorney Island about a mile down the road, but Hayling Heli's is currently the only club on Hayling Island. There was an indoor club just down the road but they've stopped now.

Andy and I fly at Copse lane, near the Yew Tree pub. Planes aren't allowed at Hayling Heli club so it could be a few rouge fliers?

is that zeta goods land ?
if not have a word with her as she owns 12%ov hayling graz rights with horses and a few camping sites.
but i do know she has resting land for when sunner gets bad for horses aswell as a few caravan storage sites that are empty in summer.
mabe a wild shot but my missus brother raced mx with her son years ago and at a drop ov a hat built them a mx track ,so shes got it up her sleave if needed.
