hi guys,
just to keep you update with what's going on at phoenix technology
The GT9 is due to be released very soon, (should be here in 10days time) at a special introductory price of £39.99 (Normal R.R.P £59.99)
More MKS servos and servo parts are coming, the newly designed MKS UK Site will be ready next week.
The FBL Unit and the Auto pilot system have been tested successfully in Germany and China Factory, the first test sample should be here soon and will be tested by Russ Deakin on his TT360 V2 FBL
The TT360 V2 FB kit will get some abusive test by Adam Turner soon.
The 700N FBL will be tested by Stefan Simmons and a build review is due to come.
The 700E FB kit with our new ''Germany'' Motor(500kv) and ESC(130hv) will be passed on to our Russ Deakin for further testing. Review will be published on our website later.
Some new feature will be added to phoenixtechuk site to give more info about what we doing and this should be fun for everybody.
A new charger manufactory have been in touch, so we should see what they can offer.
and here is the latest feedback from Russ regarding the GT9 gyro
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It has the MEMS sensor dead-band sensitivity adjustment capability.
It is very simple tolerant 'plug and play' gyro for beginners. The gyro works superbly right out of the box due to innovative simple TX set-up method. A video or pre-programming gyros to suit specific kit packages would really help here! (ps: our team at phoenix technology are doing the video at the moment)
Experts can then fine tune the gyro via a full range of advanced adjustment parameters. All the advanced parameters are accessed via a revolutionary TX set-up method. Adjustments can be made and flight tested without having to re-boot the gyro. No hidden costs: like interface / lap top, expensive control box or any further product is required!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
now we just need the summer to come so we can have some proper flying and meet you guys at different events.
cheers
andy
