    And finally, following the walk of shame, did he run out of fuel or blow a glow plug? Cmon Lee be honest...nice auto though, could of cracked a walnut between your butt cheeks when the 700 cut out !

    haha, turned out the pressure nipple on the align pipe threaded and came out completely in flight hence the engine cut. Did'nt notice it until you had walked off the field. Was travelling pretty dam fast when that happened. Not a problem though i like forced autos keeps ya on ya toes

        yep was glued in with high temp locking compound obtained from work. Weird though as theoretically it shouldnt have come out because the pipe kinda supports it and stops it unthreading. Unfortunately the threads had disappeared altogether so it just backed right out. Not a problem like as just re-tapped to next size up and put a short bolt in. Then drilled and tapped a new one for the nipple. Just down from the original one.

          Not good then,can you fix it or will you require a new pipe.

          On my powerboost pipe the threads were so tight it pushed all the jb weld type stuff out,i had to work the threads abit to get a small gap to except the glue,same thing happened to me a year or so a go,my first forced auto...cant stop doing them now

          Edit,just seen your edit lol...thats good you can re-tap a new one in

            ill post a pic in a sec Funny though because i was on the phone to MikeW the night before and saying that the align pipes were okay for the money haha then this happens lol

                    JP weld mate does wonders for pressure nipples, has mine work out on an outrage pipe, completley wore the hole out, not done it since using this stuff
