Now thats what am talking about, am trying to swing the GF into getting a house but she keeps saying "What we need the extra room for? Am too young for kids!"

Little does she know it would be something like this, might start leaving Heli bits everywhere and when she starts harping on reply "Well lets get a house!" hehe

Cool. We have our dining room as an office and I've been considering doing something similar to give us loads of storage etc. I was looking at bedroom 3 drawer height cabinets as they're about the right height for a desk.

Your heli room looks neat, i've just been evicted form storing my helis in my built in woardrobe as when i asked to put a shelf up as the fusion wouldn't fit, it caused a bit of friction! Any how i'm sorting a little room in the loft theres not much headroom but its bigger than the wardrobe and i'll beable to leave stuff out when i'm working on it.

Very nice, mine are in the garage.
It not too bad as I have kitted it out with proper racking a a long 3m work top with heaters and all sorts but I have just had my loft all boarded out and had the loft hatch been made a lot bigger to accommodate the loft ladder that Im actually thinking about putting them all up there.

I have an office at home (..seperate to the heli-room as it goes)... but like desk space..so two 6foot cheap canteen tables with wheely drawer untis under and then a set of 3-drawer filing cabinets with a chunk of board on top. If you;re fussed aboiut appearnace then can get faced blockboard and edge it up... gives me a 10-11 foot desk run with another 7/8 feet return.. bags of room to stick a 46" tv as my monitor (phoenix enabled of course) with printers and stuff and work space..

Sadly the heliroom is a bit of a messy place...they live on the floor, several 4-shelf heavy duty shelving units for the parts bins etc and the old dining room table covered in heli-bits....
