It's been there a long time and they never got round to doing the heli B cert, which is a shame because it's quite good. -

Seems a bit pointless to me. Like a pub quiz for RC fanatics to show others what you know. Questions about frequencies and what 'SMART' stands for et al. so what? I'm not knocking it if there is some purpose behind it that I'm not aware of but it does seem a little irrelevant to pass a test in a hobby.

Link to the pub quiz please. Actually i done it a long time ago & failed everytime. I've even tried the flying required for the test aswell & I just cannot do a lazy 8, skids eye level at walking pace. It's the height & speed that i just cannot keep consistantYes the big sigpic is coming backComment

I've been practicing slow lazy eights off and on for a few months now and still cannot do them - I even fail on Phoenix with a placid raptor 50, so little chance of passing my A yet with my limited skills. Another down side is I get most of my practice time at the field in the evening when the other guys have gone home and now the committee have passed a rule of no unaccompanied flying unless you have passed your A, so practice time will be even more limited now.Barry

I can do the flying, but I can't remember what SWEET is meant to be. S must stand for something. Perhaps to do with flying fields. Its the stuff on the ground. No wrong guess. Must try harder.
Still trying to bind my rx, without switching on the rx first. I'll have to read that handbook again.
