Trex 450 sport.

Hi Guys,

Im looking for some info...

In regards to you people who have a trex 450 sport with the standard esc.

On the black and red wires could you tell me what writing(if any including words) they have...

I bought a 450 sport on here and im thinking it may not have the align esc with it..Which comes as stock.

Any advice would be great.

I honestly can't ever remember seeing writing on the ESC wires. Will take a look tonight.

the wires on my esc have "group a ft2 eassan" printed on the wires that goto the moter

The wires on the battery side have "e205197 awm style 3123"

I wouldn't jump to any conclusions mate. Mine is a stock align ESC which came with the 450 sport from a well know align stockist and mine has EASSAN written on it.

just had a look at mine if its the newest kit then the heatsink will be blue and it should have an align sticker on the back with the model number on the back. my red lead dont have anything written on it as it was obviously cut in between the words in manufacturing!

Just to avoid guessing, I sold this heli to the OP in August last year.

I've never even bought an Assan ESC, I bought all my stuff as Super Combo's. My ESC on the Sport I have says G-APEX 3123. That doesn't mean it's not legit. Perhaps many manufacturers make Align ESC's?

All I know is I am not low or stupid enough to try and swindle anybody, especially on a site I frequent so often. As far as I am concerned it's a genuine ESC.

Well the ESC on the black wie battery side says assan...So im guessing it is assan...

There is no proof it's not an Align ESC matey, it was bought from a Align dealer so like I say. It's Align as far as I'm concerned.

The problem is there is only a tiny length of wire on the esc, and doesn't tend to be long enough to show the entire code, as thats all it is, a code, and I'm sure all esc's made for align don't have the same code on the cables

Align esc's will be made somewhere in the world, then align will put there name on it, the cable used, would possibly change as prices change, I know as a sparky, I will always use whatever is the cheapest brand at that time
