  • Replacement 400/450 size heli

I’m having a whale of a time with my Logo 400 build, really enjoying it and with a visit to the flying field with Dude on the weekend I can’t wait to get it in the sky.

I was going to take my Blade 400 with me and maybe put a pack or two through it, but yet again had a problem before it left the building. Tail control rod wasn’t right and I’ve had to get a new one! Maybe it’s because I bought 2nd hand one and I inherited somebody else’s troubles. Couple this with the build quality of the Logo it gets me thinking about a replacement for the Blade.

You might ask why? Well the 400/450 makes a good local park flyer and good for the 5 minutes trip to the park. Dude tipped me off for somewhere to fly. Also something I can keep at home and the misses not moan at me about all my gear all over the place.

So if I did get another what to get?

I’d like something that used 2200mAh 3S lipo’s as I have a box of these and these are also good for my Gaui 550. So a common batt would be a cost saving in the long run. I’d also like something that is as good as the Logo.

    I’ve looked at the; Trex 450; Gaui 425, but it’s really a 500; the TT mini titan, Beam E4, Rave 450....I can’t decide...help!

    What would you pick?

Hi heli nice to meet you at the club , you wont go wrong with any of the trex 450 heli's good all rounders but as you already have the blade fly that first , once it is set up right and have fun before the spending starts

i agree, long time ago i made the step up from a twister storm 3D (similar to the blade 400) to a trex 450SEv2 and the difference was noticeable

i have flown the 450 sport and i prefer my SEv2, i havent flown many flights with the pro, but the one i did fly was excellent

i havent flown a Beam E4, but do have one in the collection of kit i am selling and it looks really nicely put together

another good heli in the 450 size is the mini titan

PS glad you're enjoying the Logo
