  • Futaba FF9 Slowing down !!!!

    Was only saying a min ago that my ff9 has never let me down well.............

    I have just turned it on to set up an little leccy plank and the two beeps you get when it turns on seemed slow i changed models and it was on idle up so it does a failry fast beeping to let you know and flashes a LED the fast beeping has slowed down !! i think it has a cold. has any one heard of this before ? i think i will be sending it of to ripmax tomorrow to have a sort out really has slowed down when you go into the menu's how strange. Can any one think why ??

    Ok How strange after using it for about 10 mins and turning it on and off about 5 times it seems to have just sprung back to life and its fast again ........... think i will still send it off for a check over and not going to fly untill its been checked what you guys think ??

      Ok i Have just worked it out !!! when in ppm mode the transmitter works really fast and when scrolling about the menu's etc is really speedy BUT when put into PCM mode the transmitter slows down !! and the beeping etc deff slows down does any one elce have a ff9 they can test obviously the power has to be cycled for this to work i have never noticed this before thats why im wondering if its just my transmitter ???

        ive just checked my FF9 and I think there is a very minor change in speed of menu and the double beep. Although it is a very small difference in speed I did have to do it a few times just to check I wasn't imagining it.

        Maybe in pcm there is more processing going on be interested to know myself now
