  • Just the annoying little things....

    Well would you credit it

A guy advertises on BMFA a heli I agree to buy it and collect on Sunday, He then promptly SELLS it after a deal agreed. Not impressed although there was no deposit down on it just the agreement. I had stopped watching some ebay ones I was interested in because hey going to collect this on sunday. Totally shafted my plans by someone who failed to keep to a deal

So I thought i'd finish setting up the N5 in hope of half decent weather sunday and I can then take it out and fly it. So just sorting the Gov out and discovered the sensor wasn't picking up the magnet, now your thinking I put the magnet in the wrong way round right ?

Naaa took the sensor outside plugged into the SG90 Gov (there the same Govs) and it wouldn't sense the magnet so buggered sensor Just typical!

So need to order a new Sensor now

Oh the just annoying little things in the world

I suppose I can take a plane out though for a fly worse case sunday...

Know what you mean, just yesterday a guy from another forum was selling some stuff, I sent a pm saying I would have them, he said yes. As soon as I got home to pay he sold to some 1 else. Pretty poor if you ask me. Should be banned from selling.

I wish if you offered to buy something and you didn't get in first the seller would have the good manners to PM you and tell you so.

That's the BMFA for you. I won't buy, sell or anything else from their Ads site now...Oh hang on a minute I can't anyway as I'm no longer in the BMFA Mind you it's funny how many do still sell from there with their old BMFA numbers

              Name them and shame them!!

I can honestly say I have nothing but smooth transactions and hassle free buying and selling on this forum and to a large degree on the BMFA.

But Ebay ??? OMG - jeez I have bought some cr*p - mostly advertised as nearly new and/or little used

It seems that common courtesy flew out of the window many years ago - the time when it was first come first served got the deal, a brief reply if an item was sold pending payment and removing an ad or marking it sold to save wasting peoples time etc.

Eeeeh - I remember when all this was green fields where I could fly my reed valve radio plank - now look at those little houses squashed in - GRUMPY OLD MAN!!

I have had good experiences on both here & BMFA, Bought a full 600e setup on BMFA real nice genuine guy. I was second to phone but he had already agreed to let the first guy to phone have first option, he pulled out so the guy phoned me and gave me the chance, he told me he had about 6 others chasing it 1 guy kept phoning offering more etc. but he still went in the order potential buyers had contacted him.
Ebay has got worse lately non-genuine sellers, con artists etc, and prices & postage costs have gone stupid. People are bidding prices on Ebay as much as you can get a brand new one for with a guarantee. Good if your selling I suppose.
