Servo extensions or new leads?

Just going through my Logo 400 build and the servo leads on my servos are too short. Do I get extensions and heat shrink the connectors or replace the servo leads to the right lengths as required?
All advice welcome.

don't do what I did and just use a servo extension *without* securing it in any way!

just order all the replacement bits today from fastlads - about £115

have included some 10mm heatshrink in this order to make sure they can't come apart again!

I go easy way.. extensions.. but make sure you get the right connectors ( Fast Lad Performance ), heatshrink, zap goo etc to stop them coming loose as Jonathan (GtD) expensively found out

heat shrink over the connectors is all thats needed, they wont go anywhere!

You could just use some servo extension safety lead locks like these: Servo Extension Lead Locks instead of heat shrink, that way, after you crash and need to change or repair a servo you can unclip them

I've ordered some extentions today and I have some suitable heat shrink kicking around so i'll see how I get on with that.
