Just went to the field to watch mate fly his 500 FBL, 550 FBL and 700E FBL. Was great but boy do I miss flying!

Pure and simple, finances were shot. Lost a good job about two years ago and had to deal with a lot of debt and hobby was making it worse. So I sold all my heli's and sorted myself out. Now I don't really earn enough to be able to spend on a heli. Even a FBL 450 will set me back about £550 so just trying to save as and when I can. Should hopefully have another 450 though in about 4 or 5 months. Going to be a painful summer though!

All good over purfleet today, apart from Ron / dal ditching there 450s.

Managed to get few pointers from Tony and managed to do a whole batt with quite good fig 8s now.

Even Tony likes his new FB less

99 flights in the 450 without a crash

I've missed the last four flyable days either due to illness or insomnia.
Can't go flying if I haven't slept since yesterday.

Went down the field, had a hover and a brief fly around with my trex 700, feels like its blowing a gale (27 mph gusts actually)

Came home feeling miserable because other than the wind it is a lovely day

was a good morning but it was quite windy.

The 600FBL was performing adequately, ive a few things to do on it this week before I fly it again, but was happy enough that I dont mind messing around with it again.
Think it would be very very good.

just before I left Ron had flown his 500 and landed it safely, I know he was nervous as we were watching, well done Ron
