    Hi all i read someware on here about an app for measuring head speed on the heli's,
    does ant one know what it's called and where i can get it.

    Ive got it on my phone and works very well

    Its called helitach

      Have you actually tried it against any other type of tacho?

      We used an early version and it was rubbish on nitros, although looking at the info page they might have sorted it now.
      I fancy this but don't want to shell out 2.39 if it's less accurate than my optical one.

        Myself and bolders tried it on the n5 and it was accurate against his means of testing headpseed.

          I can try it and compare it to a skytach.

          That will see just how accurate it it
          + 7 x Eddies finest EGS's

              was way off on my nitro - be interested to see if they've got it better now

                Works great for me, only thing is on electrics you need to guess the head speed to within a couple of hundred for the tach to detect a heli
