  • jr 8900 with csm 720

    Hi all

    Is there anyone else running a jr8900 with a csm 720 ??
Iv just bought a 720 as my 401 blew the 8900 due to incorrect frame rate and now i have new one and now connected up to a 720 and its working awsome but my question is about the servo getting warm,

so is anyone esle running this set up and the servo is also warm with yours??

I spoke to Wayne Osborne on the way home last night from testing and setting up and he said its normal for these servos to get warm like the 9256 with the 611 due to them taking high ampage.

    thanks

I've just had an 8900g delivered to use with the CSM 720 in my Trex 600. What settings do you use for this servo with the 720, frame rate, pulse width?

I have mine running default the way it come out of the box being i dont have a lead,
But Duncan Osborne is changing over to 8900s and they will be finding out shortly whats the recommended frame and pulse rate should be,
Some say it can take 333 but 4 of us have had them blow on a 401 and that runs at 333,

So watch this space as soon as i know l post on here, unless Edders knows

I'm using that combo in my raptor you saw fly at nuneaton, i've heard it runs333 but like you said the 401 uses that frame rate in ds mode which seems to cook the 8900.. i went for the middle ground 285ms?
                cheers Lee
