Just wanted to share my own frustration seen as everyone else is moaning - about painting my new ely q canopy.
Im an absolute c*ck and used normal primer and celulose paint out of a can meant for cars

Looked lovely at first - until i picked it up and there was a minimal bit of flex on the canopy - and the paint fell off

What a bell-end....ive now got to get it all off and get some proper flexy stuff\paint to paint it with the weekend...and whilst im at it, maybe prepare the surface with a key like i knew i should have done, but didnt bother to...

initially looked well nice as well

Tut tut.... The key is the most important bit!!! , scotchbrite, 800 wet & dry, no key no adhesion, especialy if u gonna be masking up graphics on it too, if its keyed up properly almost every paint will stick, aerosol or spraygun....... do it properly.....no cheating lol....
