This is a combination of a whole host of events and to be frank many of them have been behind the scenes.

I was asked some time ago to setup an AHA forum and my initial re-action wasn’t positive, but given a few days to reflect on it I decided to put it to a vote given the sensitivity of it which again turned out to be not really decisive. So I put in place an AHA forum for them but before making public I asked for some rules not just on AHA directly linked members but also equally on me also.

So that we could take this opportunity to start a fresh and make the right sounds in the forum and not bring it down as it’s always been in the past.
Now for better or worse I gave certain people my home no and pro-actively told them to give me a call and we can start to get things moving.

I’ve PM’d and posted to try and get things moved along quickly but it would appear this wasn’t good enough.


Again I am being portrayed here as someone who’s trying to manipulate the heli community for the RCHA’s benefit – yet it couldn’t be further from the truth.

Many of those that have jumped so to speak have had my help at some point, from a spare parts given for nothing, free webspace, forums to help promote and I’ve even went at length to stop scammers and protect members.

I have spent hundreds of hours on this forum for the benefit of ALL not a small clique and I will continue to help wherever possible.

I’d rather drop all RCHA forums if it would help actually make a difference – but being sensible the idea of having both bodies co-habiting on the one forum needed a simple gentlemen’s understanding nothing more and as much was on me as them.

As usual I’m trying to make things work for the best and yet others can only point fingers and not actually talk to me either via PM’s or if they want they can have my no.

I’d suggest that should anyone have any issue that they feel needs a strong discussion then to post here.

I’ve opened the AHA forum for all to see as I’m tired of being made to look like the person with some hidden agenda which isn’t the case...

With regards to Midland Helicopters – I rang Midland this morning @ 9am and managed to clear the air and I have re-instated his adverts etc and I publically apologies to Trevor for this.

I'm not going to debate this point here so I'm going to close this thread and copy it to the debates so if people still want to have a pop at me.
