47mm feathering spindle for CNC head?

I finally got my blade grips apart on the Blinktrading CNC head on my Zoom 400. Use of a hammer and a drift now means the feathering spindle is bent, but at least I can now get to the O-rings.

Please can anyone help in sourcing a 47mm long feathering spindle? 3mm dia, with M2 threads up each end. Reading around on the net, sources of these things is also a problem in the USA. People buy these fancy bling CNC heads, but no spares backup.

As usual, Blinktrading aren't answering emails/phone calls so I give up in that direction...

If anyone can help source one, it would be greatly appreciated.

On my sonix head the lengthof the feathering spindle was not the same as the trex, but theheads block hole is the same.
I already had some metal trex blade holders and fitted them with std trex feathering spindle, so that might be one (expensive) way out.
I looed at www.xmseller.com and there he says "45mm feathing spindle, OK for previous 47mm spindle customer to use". I don't see how that can be true! - try emailing him he is quite responsive.

Thanks for the info... I have bought some 42mm shafts from XMSeller on Ebay just now. They come with a pair of spacers, which it looks like you remove one of the two ballraces, and put a spacer in instead. Probably not as strong, but OK for my non-3D flying I suppose.

I think there'd definitely be a market for 47mm long spindles if I got a few made!

Thanks for that info too - have just ordered one of those also, as it comes with the little teeter cones as well.

I'll figure it out somehow - if it means losing a bearing each side, so be it

No need to phone... it's 47mm - look! Inventive use of MS Paint... I know the shaft diameter is 3mm, so...
