Just needed to tell everyone (I'm just about calming down now), had a brilliant afternoon's flying...haven't flown in about 3 weeks so wasn't sure how it was going to go. I've only ever hovered and done a bit of orientation work, but "went for it" a bit more. Did a few lazy 8's, a few high-ish speed passes, and then on one downward leg thought "sod it", pulled hard back on the stick, and smooth as you like, over she went, not the tidiest, but my first ever loop! Piro'd her round, downhill leg and another flip at the other end! All of this with two cameras on board. Footage isn't brilliant, but I'll process it and post it up in a bit.
Managed probably 6 or 7 loops all told over the course of 4 or 5 flights. Couple of times thought it was going a bit Pete Tong, but rescued it each time (Thank you Phoenix!!)
Have to admit, I stayed in "normal" mode throughout, throttling down at the top of the loop. I did go in to idle-up once, for a few seconds, until my 3-year old leaned on the car horn (right behind me) and I switched it off again.
Rounded off the day with a couple of battery's worth of orientation work, absolutely chuffed to bits.

Nothing worse than flipping into inverted and suddenly realising you've got no throttle or lift

Any recommendations of something free I can easily do simple video capture and basic edits? Played with Sony Vegas Trial Version (a bit complicated) but don't want to shell out on something I'm hardly going to use.
