futaba high speed reciever

I have installed the Futaba R6008HS duel speed receiver to my TRex 600.
I run an Align govenor RCE6600. I know in the high speed mode only the 1st 6 channels are high speed but my govenor does not work. I have tried plugging a servo in channel 7 and that works so:

Is the receiver faulty
or
is this correct

If this is correct it seems the only way round is to fit a manual govenor ie a revlock or throttle jockey.

I had a similar problem with a revlock govenor the way round it i found was to use the gyro channel 5 to set the gov speed and use the gov channel 7 for the gyro gain setting i think the govs dont like the high and low speed at the same time as channel 3 throttle input is high speed. you can also set all the channels to the low speed which would cure it as well

I have the same RX in my 600 and the align gov works as it should on channel 7, make sure the sensor is set right.
