  • Night flying lol

Just been out for the first time in ages with the 450 pro, forgot what fun it is

Managed 2 packs before the cold set in

Steve brought out both flying wings and crashed them both into the goal posts while trying to limbo them,my cheeks still hurting from the laughing

            go for it

what would it cost to set up yer 700 for night flying ? the hobbyking LEDs are only £6 a strip and will be brighter on 2 cells (7.4v) than glow wire is on 3 don't know what a set of 90 size night blades would cost, but you know its worth saving for that 700 of yours would look awesome all lite up in the dark go on matey go for it you know you want to he he

For me I found the orientation of the heli much easier to keep track of due to it being on a dark background, when I fly during the day I wear sunglasses as my eyes are a little light sensitive, do you have a ballpark figure so I know what it'd roughly cost to turn my 500 into a nightflyer
                  Nik.

                  Before you ask:

                  About 2 miles
                  Over £500
                  Very difficult
                  Over 80mph
NO, you can't have a go

Don't forget the 'Search' and 'Thanks' buttons.

It is possible to make night blades from any std blade - there is a long thread on it on helifreak.
Night blades are expensive - the align ones fly great (well the 425 and 600 ones anyway) but the lipos in them are notoriously unreliable. I just fitted my 600 ones with external lipos as one was on the way out (lasting only 1 flight).
You use some little 130 maH eflifght style lipos stuck on and shrinkwrapped to the root.
