I pursume the police have not got them or as per normal have left it to late and the heli has already been sold on for a fraction of the cost to feed there drug habit, if the police had gone straight round there they might of caught the bastards red handed.
Took them 2 1/2 hrs just to send a couple of pcso's round. Must have had a fresh batch of doughnuts delivered just as the incident happened.
The incident happened just before 3pm the police community support unit arrived at just after 5.30 I expect they had to tear thier selves away from catching real criminals speeding on the A36

There's probably more than enough of them on here!

But this is the 21st century, you dont need to "go round there" anymore to sort them out. Once you know someones name, address, reg number etc you can make life pretty unpleasant for them from the comfort of your own home! Not that I would advocate that sort of behaviour of course.

May be the 21st Century, but many would advocate 20th Century tactics as opposed to cyber-psycho methods. I'm no hooligan - except on a rugby pitch - but for certain types, the "softly-softly" approach just is ineffective. Look how many blags re-offend...............

I say bring back the STOCKS for thieves and other criminals, it would give them a publicly humiliating experience they wouldn't be in a hurry to repeat or boast about to their mates...........It would be a damned site cheaper than putting them in tax payer funded hotels (prisons), in fact, it's an excellent way for the government to make some more cutbacks without having to bleed the rest of us dry.

But then i suspect that the stocks would be an infringement of the criminal's human rights in our namby pamby politicaly correct equal rights Bu!!$h!T law system which often seems to place the rights of criminals above those of their victims.

If i was to propose a deterent for thieves it would be the threat of branding them on the forehead with a tattoo saying THIEF, then they would be much easier to spot down at the flying field.

I'm not in favour of 21st century tactics over medieval ones, I'm talking as well as!!

I am totally in favour of the "eye for an eye" judicial system!
