Flying my 450 last weekend when all of a sudden (3 mins in) it felt like I'd stripped a servo or lost a link as it was barely flyable. I hit TH but it landed on its side, blades, boom, flybar, but no missing links or stripped servos, so chucked it in the car and got out the 600.
I was repairing it last night, when I went to set up the swash I noticed that the elevator servo was only working when I inputted elevator on the stick but not responding at all when inputting pitch. Which explains why it felt the way it did in flight. I did a rebind but still the same.
When I went through the settings I found that the "Swash Type" on my DX7 had changed to "2 Servo 180o" So that was the cause of my problem. What I dont get is how could that have happened in flight, it was definitly ok when I took off, and for the first 3 minutes it was flying fine, then just like that I lost control. Its not like I was blindly scrolling thru the menus at the time, my fingers were on the sticks and everything was normal.
Anyone else ever had a mysterious settings change??
