  • Finally found out why my gyro wont work

Turns out the gyro requires for the transmitter too be power up first, so the only way i can get gyro function is if i unplug it then replug it in to the rx. So the question is is there any other way you can bind the tx to the rx , without having too switch on the rx first?

    Many Thanks
    Liam

What gyro are you using? As some require you to power up in HH for the gyro to initialise properly.

yup transmitter on first, then Rx. You should only have to bind once as well

accident waiting too happen? The spektrum states in the manual, to bind rx to tx insert bind plug into rx and turn on power then , put tx sticks too failsave postions and power on while holding the trainer button. How else would you go about binding?

Big +1 on always powering up Tx first for safety reasons.... regardless of Rx failsafes!

That's how you bind the RX and TX yes, but you only do that once. After that you just turn on the TX, wait a few seconds, then power up the RX and they connect.

Yeah that's correct, but you are initially talking about powering on your heli before the Tx to get the gyro to work?!

no thats fine, i needed the tx to be powered up first, So the problem should be sorted . I maybe wrote in way that made it harder too understand.

..... and just to add, you must remove the bind plug from the Rx after completing the bind process. Otherwise nowt will work!

Oh and remember to bind, then power off, then remove the bind plug. Then power the T up and the RX after. If you don't remove the bind plug you'll keep going round in circles.
