Savox tail servo

i got a savox tail servo that only recenters one way is that right?
i.e if i go left then back to middle the servo will re center but if i go right then back to middle it stays right i have to throw the stick way left to centre the servo again....is this norm and when the tail is spinning it will sort it self out??

Si, likely becuase your in heading hold on the gyro, as the guys say, just plug straight into the rx to double check operation and centre point.

That servo want centering properly anyways, have you done as above and plugged directly into rx, and taken the gyro out of the equation?

ok so servo works fine without gyro...so its normal then? just that when im tring to hover it sticks and im fighting the controls...ahhh cant wait to get up the club and have somone give me a hand...slowly losing interest in hellis seams to be just a money pit...

Jthr servo needs centering, have you set the gyro up, and set the stops on your gyro, the servo generally doesn't centre in hh mode, only in rate mode, what gyro is it

Stick with it mate. The electronics are a bit awkward - for a dullard like me anyway - but once you get the hang of it it's OK. Plenty of help on here too. Setting up is the "be-all" with helis.

Never heard of that gyro lol, the tail is so important on a heli, and if not properly set up, causes a right pain in the ass for trying to fly

We can't all afford a futaba or uther branded gyros so I took the one off my raptor witch I was told wasn't abad gyro... Just as people havnt heard of them dose that make them a bad gyro??.. I refuse to put any more money in to this hobby..: apart from fuel.!!!!!!

Easy there tiger, I never once said it was a bad gyro, and I didn't say you should go out and by another one, I personally have never heard of it, a tail servo and gyro combination is normally where people spend a lot, as this is what will lock the tail in.

You must get the gyro and tail servo set up correctly, else you a fighting a battle that your heli will win every time, look on YouTube of how to set up your tail and gyro correctly, as your tail servo for starters is quite a way off the mark
