Soldering iron quick

I need a soldering iron, quickly and fairly cheap, gas, or electric, not the maplins temp control one as my one stopped working yesterday after 3 joins, don't have receipt so they won't replace it, 25pound tops, help please

go to your local wilkingsons or hardware shop, argos etc etc youll have loads to chose from all for £25.00 or less.....

these are ok, but this is better, only in so much as as its higher wattage (50W) which makes soldering the larger wires etc a bit easier.

kevi would still try and take your broken one back to them
they do have a very good after sales with the customer
even if you lost tour receipt

Nice one adie, went in and asked them, no receipt, no box. They said POP it in and they will exchange it or take price off anything in store, may go for the gas one, rated at between 30 to 70w, anybody use these?
