  • What to buy for my birthday...

It's my birthday this week and I was going to buy a Blade 120SR with my birthday money. But scoobystig has just posted a Gaui Hurricane 200 for sale.

So do i stretch to the Gaui or stick with a 120 SR?

Bear in mind I have Logo 400 on the build table.

        or this

The Blade mCP X the lightest flybarless helicopter in its class. An ultra-micro collective pitch helicopter, it is designed for intermediate to advanced pilots. More specifically the mCP X will give transitioning pilots a more agile and capable collective pitch heli that will give them the confidence to master indoor aerobatics without the hesitance which comes with a larger outdoor only platform. Obviously the lower cost involved also makes it a much more economical alternative when learning. It comes out of the box 100% factory built and equipped with a factory-installed Flybarless 3-in-1 Control Unit with Spektrum 2.4GHz DSM receiver, ESCs, gyros and a 2.4GHz DX4e DSM2 transmitter.
As well as the heli itself in the box are two 1S 200mAh 25c batteries, a single port charger with AC adapter and a 1s High Current Ultra-Micro Battery adaptor lead. Also included are a pair of optional fast-flight main rotor blades for when confidence has grown. Transmitter batteries are also included.
Using an integrated Flybarless system, this awesome little heli to gets up in the air without a mechanical flybar. The benefits of this system provides reduced drag on the main rotor head which results in more power, longer flight times, and provides the pilot the best of both worlds between stability and agility.
The Blade mCP X is the ultimate ultra micro heli experience. Its revolutionary GX3â„¢ flybarless system, the most advanced on any ultra micro heli, delivers a level of power and cyclic response that is second to none. This, combined with the exceptionally small, lightweight mCP X airframe makes it possible to precisely fly extreme aerobatics in spaces no larger than a living room or conference room

        Specifications

Get the Logo built... It's a crime to have it just sat there waiting.

Surely it depends on where you'll be flying it. I'd be tempted just to buy a load of batteries for the Logo instead of the 120sr

The mSR is a true home flyer, the mCP just takes it to the next level. Absolute must for any mSR owner IMO! I think the mCP will leave the Trex 100 for dust.

Dont discount the Gaui, they are like a proper heli but smaller.
The tail is driven off the main gear and not a tiny motor so it flies a lot more like a bigger heli.
They'll also do all the flips loops rolls tic tocs etc which you cant do with any of the others except the McpX but from the videos I've seen so far even that isnt as agile as a Gaui.
What I would say though is that you couldnt really use the Gaui in the front room, it likes a lot of headspeed and would make a bit of a mess if it hit your telly.

So if its a small outdoor heli you want I'd have a crack at the Gaui, if you want one for the front room hold out for an McpX.

No plans to fireup the Gaui in the living room! Gaui would be open field flying (park flying) or large indoor flying. Easy to fit in the car and keep at home for when the weather just decides to be nice! Misses says the Logo has to stay at the office, too big. Well she will when she finds out!!!

I'm just waiting to get the ESC and the Logo build will start. I like to have all the bits in place before I start. Also gives me plenty of time on Pheonix.
