ElyQ looks to be back on the table. I would of liked to use the rx but I'm unsure at running the servos unregulated.
I've watched the video on the switch glow I think it was, good idea but a little on the expensive side.

EDIT: just reading Mark_T's post again about the 7100 stepping down for the tail - is this possible for the elypoo if so it means I can get rid of the step-down lead which messes up my tidy wiring .

Like the other guys have said dont use the 2 in 1,it serves a purpose but it cant handle the demands put upon it by FBL setups and its just not worth risking your investment.I use ElyQs on all my helis, there are reasonably priced, will handle any load you can ask of it,very easy to set up,simpley decide the voltage you want to run your cyclics at 4.8,6 or 7.4v all done at the press of a little button. Will supply good solid voltage to your receiver,FBL,tail and throttle servos and eliminates the possibility of brown outs. They have twin power inputs and personally I run 2 lipos, one plugged into each socket giving me even greater security.Put on a remote glow and fly your heart out........

I'm using the elyQ, the only bad thing is the case is made out of cheap plastic. They can easily crack...
Apart from that it is a nice solution.
