Hi
Just had to share my frustrations!
I have a DX8, and had to send it back to have it updated because of the well know dx8 glitch. It was a real pain the a$$ to rebind everything, but hey ho...
But NOW there is another issue.....
I have converted two of my helis to FBL witht he vbar, and have a new protos. Anyway ALL of these helis have tail drift and I have been trying everything to sort it out to no avail. I even crashed one of them because the tail started drifting really quickly in an odd orientation.
I was using the DX8 on the sim last night and had tail drift ..... !!!
So went into calibration and noticed that if you move the rudder to full travel left the when centred again there is a fair amount of left input, and the same when all the way over to the right. Also, as you move the collective up and down, the tail output moves from a fair bit left and right.
Aaaagh! So I am seriously $issed off because I now have to send it back, lose all the binding (on some of my heli's it is a real pain to get to the bind plug) and be without any flying heli's for a week or so.
What about the smashed up heli? will HH pay for this? I seriously doubt it.
Anyone else has similar issues?
I have seriously lost confidence in the DX8 now, what other transmitter is out there? or should I go back to my trusty DX7?
Ggggrrrrrrr!
Gareth
