Can anyone repair a servo wire?

I have a servo and on the wire it has the infamous split from rubbing on a frame.

Now its gone through to 1 of the wire strands but not cut any of the tiny strands so I would use it again wrapped up in my fleece braid stuff but would rather have it repaired if possible.

If someone could repair please let me know and I will gladly pay for the service

when this happened when i was racing cars i would cut it and resolder at the servo or buy a new lead and resolder at the servo its not hard really have a practice on an old servo if you have one

If you carefully remove the plug, could you not just put some heatshrink over it?

Personally as its not split the wire I would do as suggested and just patch it with a length of heatshrink.
