I'll be doing the set up on the GY401 in my MP after discovering I havent done it yet.... only been flying like it for two years! Guess my mechanical set up must be almost spot on....

I'll also be testing out and setting up my Roxxter 11 this weekend and If I can crib together some paddles I'll be testing out the re-built hornet.

I plan on being down the field for both sat and sunday weather permitting...

Football coaching in the morning, gym after lunch, 5-a-side from 4pm till 6pm, and out on the pop that night if I'm not asleep. Flying Sunday, simple.

                        Interested week for me.

Bought my first plank (Banshee off 3DJIM) and flew it on wednesday. Did a couple of flights and got on OK. Somehow blanked out while flying, let it get away and put her in hard. write off..

Had trouble with my old 3D where Hyper is OK, then it goes lean on me for no reason. Belt snapped on spoolup on Friday.

Then got down today and switched on my TX........dead. Left the DX on charge overnight on automatic on the constellation. The internal fuse had blown. Luckily one of the "top" guys TT John lent me his fuse out of his DX7 .

Flew my 450 v2 and coming out of a backwards loop 401 blew out and swapped orientation. Not pleasant as it happens so quick and luckily didn't crash.

Then on my last flight of the day came out of a tick tock and the tail went, hit throttle hold and managed to auto her in. Ran to the heli as the 9254 was smoldering and unplugged the servo.... phew. One knackered 9254.

Went to work with heatstoke and a migraine!

It could have been worse, both of your saves were very well done, that was a cool bit of recovery in both cases and i was impressed

Thanks Chris. Yestderday was laugh tho wasn't it. Distinct smell of cheese and putty in the air.

Wierdly I was thinking that morning on the way to the field about whether I would be able to react quick enough if I lost the tail and find throttle hold. I guess the stick time pays off.

Grounded today because have no fuse for my TX

Boggie.... tell me about it. I'd also just bought a V2.
