Best offers on eBay

Hi Guys
I'm beginning to get a bit worried now as my 450 SE V2 still hasnt turned up & it's fast aproaching a week since I paid for it

I bought it on a buy it now or best offer on eBay from a 100% feed back holder. I am now wondering if I've got it wrong & shouldnt expect it to get posted untill the auction finishes. Does anyone here have experience with how best offer works?

I wasnt too worried about the safety of the transaction guys.
If I knew it would take him a week to get it to me I would have purchased from Taiwan.

Sent Kev an email regarding this transaction & it seems he sold all his stock last Saturday (we had a run on kits & sold out he told me) the fact I paid for this kit the day before he had a run on kits didnt seem to dawn on him I guess. He offered his apologies for me being put out & that he would deffo get one in the post on Thursday night so it would get to me Friday needless to say it didnt turn up on Friday either. I did get an email to say it had been dispatched on Friday tho this was about 5pm so I waited in all Saturday morning till the wife got home as it was coming via a courier but no kit turned up Saturday. I Waited in all day today because I didnt want it going back to the depot after such a long wait for it & guess what? yup still no trex 450 se!
I guess the moral of this story has to be dont bother using cheap uk suppliers in this country just go straight to Taiwan for all your Align related stuff, it will get to you quicker that way.
Oh & I wouldnt recomend anyone uses Kevs Racing bits on eBay either he is basicaly catalogue selling which is selling stock he doesnt have in his possesion yet which I thought was illegal on eBay.

rcslopesurfer, harsh words spoken from disappointment. One small issue with your assumptions. Surely you don't believe every seller on ebay sits and watches their items and will respond the moment someone makes a bid ? Sadly, not in my experience. Three things you do not know; Kevin was confined to his sick bed for most of the week you made your offer on ebay and he only returned to the shop on Saturday, which when I was there, was unusually busy; The expected courier delivery from Robbie, Kevin's surplier, did not arrive until the Friday, I know because I was waiting on parts for my 600CF and finally, Align, through the commercial vehicle AlignUK, have recently entered into direct agreements with two UK retailers, cutting out Robbie who was the the sole UK importer which is only making availability of the very popular heli kits and parts scarce. In my experience, Kevin is a good bloke who is interested in and tries to help all his customers. I am sorry for your disappointment but I genuinely believe you have just been unlucky and not mislead by any sharp practice. You may well have got it quicker from Taiwan but I have always preferred to deal with someone I can talk to face to face, especially if I am not happy and when the servos I chose proved to be too big for the frame, they were changed without question and for some that were cheaper. I can and do recommned Kev's racing bits, even if he does have the odd hiccup. Good luck with SE when it arrives, I am sure you will not be disappointed. Regards, Andy
