    Hi all,

    Any recommendations for a cam to attach to planes and helis? This looks good;

    Any demo videos of that camera on a heli?
    Also, what would it connect to at a field? that receiver needs 110 power. Pity it can't speak directly to a laptop with WiFi...

        Yeah, I notice it has a power supply, so I guess you could find the voltage or something, and power it off a 12V.. but the problem is, what do you save the footage to... I would like a receiver with a USB connection that connected to the laptop, drew power, and then you could save the video direct to hard disk. THAT would be good...

        But taking a video machine to the field : Not good.

          I got one of the £1 (+£19 postage) off eBay to put on my EPP wing to film my dog, worked really well, I just plugged the receiver into a 3s LiPo for power and captured the video on an Archos.

          If I was going to bung one on a heli, I'd get something like this http://www.novatech.co.uk:80/novatec...tml?NOV-DIGCAM . No need to worry about capturing or downlinks, better quality too,
          Clones are bad

          .... that includes Align ones

            I've just put a small camera on my Trex 450, and the quality isn't amazing. It saves direct to it's internal 128mb memory.. so yuo get around 4 or 5 minutes of picture.

            But I am suffering from both vibration, and possibly interference from the ESC/Motor. So I'll give it a bash on my Raptor when I have an idea how to fly it.

            Cost me £35 delievered...

              did you cable tie it directly to the heli? if so, try wrapping it in some foam and gently tie around it, it should help dampen the vibrations....

                Now THAT is a really good idea. What model archos do you have? This maybe the final nail in the coffin for my ipod nano...
