Membership is now available at North Downs Flyers in Surrey, Situated just south of the M25 Junction 8.

50+ Plus acre Field with 5 Flying patches, 7 days a week 52 weeks a yr access, with very few restrictions.
Private land so no dog walkers or general public to worry you
Grass cut by contracter so no mowing required!
Full Pallet Pit area so no bending down access all yr round
Car parking off road next to the field
Heli club only with electric Plane use if you are a heli Flyer.
Limited membership to 35 members so the field never gets too busy and lots of flying can be had
All level of flyers welcome
BMFA membership required

both actually, depends where your coming from, if u come off at 8, take the riegate route, take the left befor the bridge, drive to the end and chuck a right, brings u out at merstam station

Fwiw I visit the club a few times a year and it's a really nice club. Good pit area with raised working area, multiple flight stations, and most importantly a good bunch of guys (and girls - mrs Leebert ).

I want to join, just a little bit out of the way for me for everyday flying, but certainly would be a fantastic option for the weekends to stretch the TDR's legs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just looking at the map on Google it looks like the field is about a mile and a half from the Redhill station and I can get to Redhill quite easily from here.

Does that sound about right? I know sometimes it's not always as simple a route as it might appear on the map.

It looks like I could take the folding bike and the train journey is direct from here in just over a half hour.
