  • Bad vibrations!!!!!

For some time now I have had a vibration on one of my nitro 600's, I have fitted new main blades new tail blades checked the governor magnets are still in place and checked the paddles all A OK.

Now this vibration would only show it's self at about 1/4 throttle at this point the heli would shudder but as I pushed the stick up past this it would settle down, the other time the vibration showed it self was in idle up the end of the tail fin would be a blur, now I don't know why I decided to do this but I fitted a new main shaft and now all is well no vibrations at any time.

just thought I would tell you about this as it could help one of you out if you are having a problem like this.

i have a similar problem with my 450 but i think its my woody blades, cant seem to track them right(think they are warped a little bit)new carbon blades should arrive 2moro so should see if that solves the problem.bet that was a pain while you tried figuring out what it was i know mine is.
    Cheers Aaron

Was the shaft you removed bent ? Or was it just the fact that you re-seated the bearings that solved the problem ?

Are you referring to when i asked about a slight lean in the head?if so it was the bottom bearing block was in the wrong way round had an offset of about 1-2mm switched it round and all is ok!!i have put a new cnc head on instead of the plastic 1 so a new shaft came with that now i think i have warped blades but should find out when my carbons arrive.

Sorry Arron, I was supposed to be asking Wayne your post just sneaked in. My fault, I have quoted the wrong text. Glad you've got yours sorted.
