Why are they so damned expensive?

All there are is a small 35mhz fixed pitched heli! and they are £300 or more.

You can get a Trex sport for that!

Are you sure thats an up to date price, a lot of sites dont bother to update the prices of old kits, or even delete them when they are no longer available.

A while back I had a gyro that Midlands still have listed as still being available, and still being about £180, there is no way in hell it (JR 550T) is either, if they have any in stock they'll never shift them at that price, it was heading hold, but it had a piezo sensor.

The 401 has been out for years and completely out classes it, and that's not exactly new or top of the range.
Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

    T-rex 500FG night setup.
    T-rex 700N pro
    T-rex 450 pro

I had the Quark for couple years & sold several months ago but at the time I purchased was very expensive, once flown didn't think any more of the price as it seemed worth it, but now were all on 2.4 not even new version of Quark is on 2.4 so now makes it too expensive!
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

I too had a Quark, and though expensive, I loved it and thought it was well worth the money. Great little flyer, indoors and out in light winds, very tough and robust and perfect as a first single rotor fixed pitch machine. Very cheap to run - just foam blades, which could be improved and toughened up with sellotape.

Still seems to be the same (actualy more now) high price, and it is a great machine, but now too expensive. Should be 2.4 B&F or be able to fit your own RX. There is supposed to be a CP version coming, but this was frst seen 18 months ago now, but still not in the shops.

A friend has one and I flew it for the first time about 6 weeks ago. I must admit it was really nice to fly and very stable yet resposive.

What is curious is that there is a full page colour advert taken out by Hirobo/Ripmax UK for the SRB Quark as the back cover page of Model Helicopter World (£370 with TX, £330 without) and there has been for months.... must cost quite a bit so they must be selling them somewhere in numbers to make it worthe while?
