    Graveley Fly-In

    It's my little boy's 2nd birthday today, and there was no way that I was going to be allowed to travel the 40 minutes up the road to nightstalker's fly-in today, but hey presto! At 9am this morning, my Mrs said she wanted me and the lad out from under her feet for a few hours while she got ready for the party this afternoon!

    RESULT!

    We were in the car within seconds, and off up the road to Graveley.

    I took a couple of helis, but couldn't fly as I'd never know what the birthday boy would be up to while I was out on the patch, so just soaked up the sun, wandered around and watched some good flying for a couple of hours.

    It was a great club set-up and was definately entertaining, and I'm sure the reason that nightstalker isn't online right now, is probably because they're still there doing a bit of night-time stuff.

    Good event chaps, and the weather was purrrrrfect.

    Hi mate just got home now, was great seeing you again shame you never got to fly, me and the mrs would of looked after the young chap while you flew mate should of asked,

    Hope ur doing well and il pop up ur club some day soon for a days flying with you

        He was there mate he was parked right in front of us, he was there till the end and done an inverted autos with great grace,

        to be honest i dont have a clue i heard names but not said what forum they was off

          One thing I did notice - as I walked along the line of parked cars, there were a lot of helis that were stuck in car boots (just like mine, but hey, I had an excuse not to fly), that didn't look like they were going to see the light of day.

          There was a couple of Robbe Futuras in one car, not that I was looking closely!!!

              So 3dbasher and Disc were there eh?

              I was there in the morning and was the the lost soul chasing a little 2-year birthday-boy around the pits, and not flying!

                  Nope I was stuck at work climbing the walls....

                  Sounds like 3DBasher had fun though....

                  although who was brave enough to let him fly anything is beyond me

                        Is that the New Market club? if so if might be. Depends on work and family commitments.
                        -I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.

                        A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
                        A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
                        And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly
