New Year Resolution...

I'd have to say my resolution is to get flying having just started in helis. I have a Trex 450 Sport (being built) and an unbuilt Trex 600 ESP which both need to get airborne. I've had the 450 since May (I feel quite dirty saying that...) and have just got the 600 but having two boys, a 2 year old and a 2 month old, keeps me busy. So hopefully I'll get to meet some of you at the airfield (Richmond Park or Epsom Downs).

Does anyone else have any flying related New Years resolutions?

Well good luck with your resolutions. Mine are similar to yours really, at least those that are flying related:

• fly more
• get balls
• fly better

I also start a new job on Tuesday that will take me back into Industry. It'll involve my family relocating and will be hard work. Hence my main resolution for 2011 is to make that happen successfully.

Oh, and I also want to lose some weight. Lost about 8 pounds following my doctor-advised low fat diet and want to build on the start I've made.

My resolution is similar to most . To stop buying kits and get out and do more flying, with occasional new builds ..............................................

Stop buying new helis.... Just fly one ones I have!
Get my "B" test out the way
Go to more Fly-In's
Improve my flying

Change your normal pitch curve to 0-25-50-50-50 Then you wont even get off the ground till you switch to idle up

I've spent more time buying/building/reparing than flying! So I need to fly more.. I've only burnt 3 1/2 gallons of fuel and half of it, was to bed the engine in and only 42 logged flights on my leccies.. However I'm not stagnant with my progression

Also need to go to flyins etc.. to put some ugly mugs to some names!
