  • Actually managed to fly today - hooray

I managed to get a few flights in today with my 450, 500 and 550 yahoo!!

There isn't anyone else working on the industrial park today - except me, so off to do a little bit of practice whilst there was still some light and plenty of space. Super smashing great

Hopefully I can get a few more flights in this weekend that is if I don't have a ton of other jobs to get done.... nah sod that, flying it is......

Happy New Year - may it bring you all that you desire!

    Cheers,
    Simon

Sounds like you had the perfect day at work. It's a shame you can't 3d 'yet' as the blade noise in inverted hurricanes would sound amazing bouncing off all the units.

I'm pretty sure he'll let you see if his 550 is 3D ready & i'll be eagerly awaiting the video.

I am sooooo tempted to give it a go, I've been doing plenty of practice on the sim (yeah with my simstick of course) with no real issues at all. The problem is between my bloody ears.... well might have another go with the 450 and see what happens.

Memo to self...... New Years Resolution: Grow some balls and flip the damn thing on its back lol

          Cheers,
          Simon

I have 200% belief in you mate. My tip is go HIGH then add a bit more height then just slam that cyclic down. Make sure you can do want you want to try on the sim very well 1st then try it for real. Remember... if Gav can do it ANYONE can do it
