    Executive summary is:
don't play with the settings on you tx late at night.

spun up the trex450 for a flight friday evening. Wagged the sticks and everything responded, rotor tilting the right way, yaw in the tail the right way (no the nose sorry), so 2800rpm and confident enthusiastic lift off.

    Pyro hell!

rudder changes direction of pyro. cyclic works, collective works.
    Its a bit far away.
    cyclic changes directino of pyro.
    Now its coming back
Now its not spinning, ho hum any change in collective and it spins...
Its passes me a bit too close to my left
I think "I can land this"
I put it down but sudden pyro means it tips over and funky chickens.

    Inquest
Bent feathering shaft, main shaft, tail boom. one link vanished. That all. The radix 315 blades survive again (3rd crash).

Tx, gro gain is reset to channel mid point (ie no gyro gain - no gyro at all, but rudder working!).

    conclusion
don't play with the settings on you tx late at night.

I beleive the likes of BobJ did aerobatics with no gyro.
    RESPECT.

Now, a bit of R>T mix and I maybe I could do that. Just need a free heli to try it out!

(no, 6 free helis to try it out).
