That seems a bit dear doesn't it, I got the turnigy ones, 3000mah 6s 30c for around 35 quid I think, charge them at 2c, or I'm certain for 45 pounds you'd be able to get the 3000 25 to 50c nanotechs that you can charge at 5c, or even the 3300mah nanotechs, nano tech are slightly lighter and smaller than standard packs

Would the 3000mah nanotechs be better for extended flight time?

The 3000mah Nanotechs are the ones to get.

the 3000mah nanos work out at £37.50 plus p & p plus possible import duty, & risk of a bad cell/battery. Think i would play safe with Heliguy........

True that, but I prefer the longer flight for a little less money, personally only had good experiences with hobbyking

What flight times you getting on them then with the Compass? How many cycles so far?

Im running 3300mAh nano-techs on my Atom. Went for a flight on christmas day and got 6mins sport flying with 30% left in pack running 2400 headspeed. So if flying to 80% rule this should give approx 6:30.
I broke in the packs by hovering for approx 6mins which used about 50% of pack therefore a 10minute hover is quite feasable on these packs (at a slightly lower HS)

With this in mind I guess flying hard 3D would give maybe 5mins.

@ OP. I think you need to decide what is more important to you - more performance/ less flight time from the lighter 2650mAh packs or longer flights/ less performance from the 3000mAh + packs.

I have obviously ordered from Hobbyking also. I did get hit by customs charges of £20 but the lipos are still good value compared to UK lipos. None of the lipos I have recieved have had faulty cells and have all worked fine. If I was paying more than £50 a lipo I might be more concerned ordering from HK but I guess that would depend on the difference with UK prices. From what I have seen some UK vendors have a poor warranty replacement support also so this also needs to be considered.

Also when I bought the 3300 lipos I also bought a 2200 45-90C 3S lipo. Have to say it does seem to have plenty of poke. Also my Cellpro is showing an IR of approx 6milliohms per cell which is lower than any other lipo I have.

I've got 7 Turnigy 3300's dont even get warm no matter how much stick you give-em all have had endless of charges.
I have a mix of others but power not as good then there's Thunder power Flighpower outrage all of which got hot & swelled with not as many flights.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.
