Hi Guys,
As you may know the Vbar Blueline V5 acts as a receiver as well. So, when I came to set the failsafe on it I found it's defaults were to centre all flight controls (alieron, elevator and pitch) and zero throttle (or where ever you leave the throttle channel at during the bind process).
The discussion I'm having on the vstabi forum.....Do you think this correct or not?
Personally I feel the flight controls should be held in there last know position and only the throttle should be zeroed. If for instance you are flying with pitch on, maybe a bit of roll and the model goes into failsafe, using the zeroing flight controls method the model will un-expectedly change it's path that it was following surprizing the pilot and confusing him as to what evasive action to take. If you held the controls it would have far less impact on what would happen to the models path and makes it easier to avoid the out of control machine. Both these situations we accept that the throttle should go to zero.
What do you all reckon??
