    He is clearly trolling.

It looked like he was rehabilitating, but he is back to his old ways.

How long before he is asking which turbine heli to buy??

Life's a bitch and then you fly!!

I have a JR 9XII that is about 3 years old now. I started getting momentary signal losses (leading to the reciever going into failsafe), so I sent the transmitter and receivers all back to Macgregor for testing and repairing. I was told that it would be around two weeks to a month before I got them back... in the end I think it was closer to three!

Anyhow, I'm £50 lighter, but everything came back with a clean bill of health, so I reinstalled all the receivers. Third flight of the day a the failsafe kills the motor on the 450 and in it goes. Switching on the Knight3D, I managed to get the reciever to enter failsafe with me within three metres of the heli! So much for Macgregor's testing. Subsequently I've fitted a Spektrum module to it, and it works great.

Horizon, on the other hand, picked up my secondhand DX6i, fixed it (early throttle issue) and returned it within about 3 days, all free of charge. I would have no hesistation in giving them more business.

Macregor don't repair their own gear it's sent to a contractor(s) for fixing.

Considering he had a belt cp2 back in March, that is not bad going! http://www.rcheliaddict.co.uk/beginn...hello-all.html

Shame really, he turned up a few weeks ago with his 700le,which I helped set up and trimmed at northwick park,,,,, his flying has gone on leaps and bounds to the point where if he sorted himself out properly, he could be a very good 3d pilot,,, Definitely needs to get his act together....

              wazwiz

They sent you a free part.. They could have turned round and said.. Send it to us and we will fix it for a fee.

No, They rather do the best they can for the consumer (YOU) and provide the part in mention free of charge.

So, I don't know how you have the cheek to even murmer a complaint.

Don't like it? buy a brand new part.

and Spektrum are a Sub-Devision of JR numpty, EDIT: Well used to be.

I'm not a fan of Spectrum or JR but we hear nothing but good things about HH.
I hope they don't see this topic, as it might P*ss them off enough not to help others out FOC in the future.

Waz, why dont you go and see them personally and explain just how un happy you are. I'm sure their customer service team will help you fly again - possibly right over the fence and into the car park.

Please be sure to get a video so we can all enjoy it.

When I phoned horizon when my tx was in for a check up, they said if anything is damaged, then they will always repair with scrap parts, he said, all of which are fully bench tested before putting into somebody's tx, horizon don't have numerous brand new spare parts lying around, meaning at the end of the day, it keeps the, price down for the customer, sort if this has been said already, haven't time just know to read it all, but wazim...wazim...wazim, you really do bring these things on yourself, you got the part FOC, can't see any problem with that
