it looks clearly that its not brand new it looks as if it been used. its got marks on it but slightly less compared to my current one.

Just to drag this back on thread, it's quite possible that if a new part was not in stock, to get you back in the air they may have taken one out of another set.

And even on a new radio, the friction plate will have marks on it, they move the sticks in the factory to test 'em you know...

I have a JR 9XII that is about 3 years old now. I started getting momentary signal losses (leading to the reciever going into failsafe), so I sent the transmitter and receivers all back to Macgregor for testing and repairing. I was told that it would be around two weeks to a month before I got them back... in the end I think it was closer to three!

Anyhow, I'm £50 lighter, but everything came back with a clean bill of health, so I reinstalled all the receivers. Third flight of the day a the failsafe kills the motor on the 450 and in it goes. Switching on the Knight3D, I managed to get the reciever to enter failsafe with me within three metres of the heli! So much for Macgregor's testing. Subsequently I've fitted a Spektrum module to it, and it works great.

Horizon, on the other hand, picked up my secondhand DX6i, fixed it (early throttle issue) and returned it within about 3 days, all free of charge. I would have no hesistation in giving them more business.

Horizon have always been great. Sent dx7 and 3 recievers a 6200, 7000 and a 9000 kept having issues with the 9000. They sent back dx7 all repaired had a faulty board or something they sent brand new in packets 6200 and 7000 and a fully reconditioned and firmware updated 9000rx all within 3 days.(the 9000 was smashed due to a crash). Didn't cost me a penny well only the postage to them.

GREAT work Horizon Hobby. keep it up and merry christmas and happy new year, thanks for another great year of service from all at Heli Addicts. Bar 1.

Not happy with HH

Sent a 7000 receiver back with a broken aerial (receiver 18 months old and well used)

They repaired the receiver FOC and sent it back to me

HH provide excellent service and provide after care for their products which cant be faulted
